Thanks to a generous grant from The John Weston Fund, Foundation Derbyshire, we are delighted to announce we will be starting our new guitar and ukulele groups from Monday 28th April at Anthony Gell School. We are pleased to welcome new Ensemble Director Steve Fletcher, who will be leading sessions for beginners and more experienced players. Steve has been teaching Guitar/Ukulele/Bass in schools in and around Derbyshire for over 20 years, is also a session musician and is often to be found performing in musical pit bands for such performances as We Will Rock You, Grease, Guys & Dolls, Fiddler On The Roof, Sound of Music and many many more. He is also lead guitarist in several professional bands such as tributes to Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, and ex-Fleetwood Mac guitarist Peter Green.
The Beginners’ Group will run from 4 – 4:50pm and More Experienced Players from 5 – 5:50pm. Find out more.
