Our groups offer the chance to enjoy playing these instruments to beginners to advanced levels.

From Tasters to Beginners through to Juniors and Chamber Strings, these sessions range from fun and funky to traditional and classical for all ages and abilities.
From Training to Intermediate then Senior Wind Band, these sessions offer something for everyone, playing together while learning a variety of musical styles and genres.

Wirksworth Music Centre is a registered charity which believes that all young musicians should have the opportunity to play music with others. So, the costs are kept as low as possible, and the children’s spirits and sense of enjoyment are kept high!
This music centre exists thanks almost entirely to the excellent and generous mix of professionals and volunteers who add such a sense of community and offer a warm welcome to all.
