Wirksworth Music Centre at Wirksworth Festival 2025
We were delighted to be part of this year’s Wirksworth Festival, performing as part of MusicWirks – the celebration of live music that fills the town each September.
Our Wind Band performed on Church Walk outside St Mary’s Church with a varied and lively programme, including ABBA on Broadway, Skyfall, Lord of the Dance, An Irish Air for Winds, and more. It was fantastic to share our music with such an enthusiastic audience, and to see so many people enjoying live music of all kinds, all around the town.
A huge thank you to MusicWirks for bringing together such a rich programme of music and community performances, and to our brilliant players for representing Wirksworth Music Centre with such energy and commitment.
