Y5 & 6 Transition Group

We are delighted to announce a new initiative in collaboration with Anthony Gell School – an after school Transition Music Club for Y5 and Y6 pupils who will be joining AGS.

NEW – Starting Mon 28 April 2025

Providing an engaging introduction to secondary school music, the club will offer fun opportunities to use keyboards, ukuleles and sing, as well as make new friends and meet some of the instrumental teachers at the school. The club will be led by our Ensemble Director, Paul Hunter, who is Lead Inclusion Practitioner at Anthony Gell and teaches Music and English.

  • Have a go at playing the ukulele, keyboards and singing
  • Meet Anthony Gell’s instrumental teachers
  • Discover what instruments you could learn to play
  • Have fun and meet other students joining AGS

The club starts on Monday 28th April and will run weekly for 6 sessions, from 4:45 – 5:30 pm, and will cost £1.50 per session.
