Music Lessons Fund

Learning to play an instrument can be expensive but support is available. The Music Lessons Fund can help you to pay for your children’s music lessons.

The Music Lessons Fund is run by local people, long-term residents of Wirksworth and district.

They believe music provides an enriching, life-long experience. Financial hardship should not exclude young people from having the chance to play a musical instrument.

Who does the fund support?

It supports young people whose families can’t afford to pay for music lessons. We cover part of the cost of the lessons, so that the family will not have to pay the full amount.

The young people, aged 5-18, will usually have their lessons in the Wirksworth area.
