Wirksworth Music Centre is delighted to share news of a generous gift that will make a real difference to our outdoor events and performances.
CGI is one of the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world. As a company CGI are proud to support and sponsor local community groups and sports clubs nominated by Partners. Thanks to a nomination from one of our parents — who works for CGI — we are thrilled to have received a brand‑new gazebo, complete with Wirksworth Music Centre branding.
This fantastic addition will help us enormously at summer concerts, outdoor rehearsals, community events and fundraising activities. It gives our young musicians a dedicated, sheltered space and helps us present a more visible, welcoming presence when we’re out and about in the community.
