I am a trustee at the Music Centre and regular volunteer now.
Having always been busy with work, I hadn’t taken the opportunity to look into helping on Saturdays.
It is exciting to see the children on their musical journeys, making friends, developing and gaining confidence – but pretty well taking it in all their young strides.
I never learned to play an instrument when I was younger and wasn’t at all musical. If only I had been able to come to WMC all those years ago – oh, the packed stadiums I could have performed to now!
